ADAM HEYWARD SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship was established in 2015 by the members of the Wilberforce Washington, DC Alumni Chapter to honor the legacy of Adam Heyward, a fellow chapter member whose dedication to his family, friends, community, and Wilberforce University continues to impact and inspire individual lives. Adam graduated from Wilberforce in 1974 with a degree in biology. This scholarship provides support to a student attending Wilberforce majoring in biology, demonstrate academic excellence, and a commitment to community involvement.

NANCY MILNER STUDENT GIFT CARD AWARD
This gift card award was established in 2016 by members of the Wilberforce Washington, DC Alumni Chapter in memory of Nancy “Fancy Nancy” Milner. A 1968 Wilberforce graduate and fellow chapter member, Nancy was committed to increasing Wilberforce student enrollment and serving as a mentor to Wilberforce students who were from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia areas. A monetary gift card is given in March to Wilberforce students from the DMV area to help assist with paying for their school supplies.

The Wilberforce DC Alumni Chapter welcomes your financial support as we execute our mission to benefit Wilberforce University and its current and future students. Your contribution aids with chapter operations, recruitment efforts, alumni events, and community service activities like the Marion Johnson Day of Service. All donations are welcome. A minimum donation of $20 is encouraged, but whatever you can give is accepted.
